WILA Engages Case Competition Invitational takes place at Ryerson University in March. The competition, organized by the Ted Rogers MBA Women In Leadership Association (WILA), challenges competitors to think about Diversity and Inclusion from the perspective of organizational strategy.
This year’s team consisted of Aswin Thiru Puram, Bharti Krishna, Costa Sanoudakis and Sraddha Manda competed at Women in Leadership Case competition organized at Ryerson university. Traditionally WILA focused on Diversity & Inclusion however, this instalment of the case competition mandate was refocused on cryptocurrency and Central bank backed digital currencies. While the curve ball was less than ideal, we are proud of the work put out by the team!!
JMSB competed against 5 other teams; Haskayne School of Business, University of Alberta and 3 teams from Ryerson. Judges included both academic and industry experts.
The JMSB team, comprised of Karolyne Courville, Jesse Prent, Adriano D’angelo and Kuldeep Patni, learned that being creative is a key differentiator when giving a presentation. They enjoyed the experience and appreciated learning from the judges’ feedback and being able to apply it directly before going into the finals’ presentation.
